IS INDIA READY TO GO CASHLESS ?

"Is India ready to go Cashless ?" This question is being asked by a lot of people since past two years. The answer to it can only be given after a thorough research on the present condition of how people deal in cash.

Cashless Economy is an economy where there is no physical circulation of cash and all the transactions are done through online mode. Going cashless will be a boon for the society with an infinite number of benefits. It will bring much needed transparency. All the transactions of the merchants will be revealed and they have to pay taxes accordingly. Corruptions can be curbed, as it is not possible to take much bribe online.

INDIA TO START 2019 WORLD CUP CAMPAIGN AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA

England and Wales will host the ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) 2019 which will played from 30th May 2019 to 14th July 2019. England gained the hosting right in 2006, when the hosting rights for 2011, 2015 and 2019 world Cups were awarded. The 2019 CWC will feature 10 teams, a decrease from the World Cup  in 2011 and 2015 which featured 14 teams. The teams featuring in 2019 World Cup are:

AUSTRALIA
BANGLADESH
ENGLAND
INDIA
NEW ZEALAND
PAKISTAN
SOUTH AFRICA
SRI LANKA
AFGHANISTAN
WEST INDIES

The schedule is not out yet, but what is confirm is that India will play their opening game against South Africa on June 5 instead of June 2. The reason behind the change of schedule is that the BCCI will have to maintain a mandatory gap of 15 days between IPL Final and International assignment as recommended by the Lodha Committee. IPL 2019 is scheduled to be played from March 29 to May 19. So a gap of 15 days means India could not play any game before June 4, so this change was initiated.
Another interesting thing is that ICC always start India’s campaign on big tournament with a Indo-Pak match which is a guaranteed sell out as it happened in 2015 world Cup (in Adelaide) and in 2017 Champion Trophy (in Birmingham) but in 2019 World Cup India will start their campaign against South Africa and will face arch-rival Pakistan on June 16.
The format of the fixture will be the same as in 1992 World Cup, where all the 10 teams will play against each other i.e. a total of 45 matches will be played while each team will play 9 games. The top 4 team will progress to the knockout stage.
The tournament opener will be played between the host England and South Africa at the Oval on 30th May 2019.

Saquib Akhter, Signing off for the day. Thank You.

INDIA HAS MOST NUMBER OF SELFIE DEATH

This is not a topic in which any country would like to top but unfortunately India has topped in most number of Selfie death. Between March 2014 and September 2016, 127 selfie death took place out of which 76 occurred in India, that is 60% of selfie death took place in India.
The issue is getting bigger as more people are becoming selfie addict. From morning till night wherever a person is going he/she will find a place to click selfie. While travelling in a bus, walking in a crowded place, watching movie or just sitting idle people click selfie everywhere. If someone is happy he takes a selfie, if someone is sad he too takes a selfie. So taking selfie doesn't depend on mood, it has become a habit. Some selfies are good but some cost our lives. To make selfie unique, people don't realize the danger which they are going to face and end up taking the selfie at the cost of their life.
On 9th May 2016, an 18 year old girl from SNDT college drowned in Bandra sea whiletaking selfie with her friends. Her friend jumped to save her but he too drowned.
On 15th May 2017, a 21 year old Engineering Student from Tamil Nadu was taking selfie with hs mother and sister on the edge of a rock. A wave hit her, she lost her balance and drowned.
There are numerous cases where death could have been avoided had selfie not been taken.
The word 'Selfie' was declared Word of the Year in 2013 but even before that selfie has already became an addiction for the whole generation. In 2016, more than 24 billion selfies was uploaded in Google Photos. This shows how people are addicted to selfies and the much selfie is being taken everyday by us.
Taking selfie is good and we all should take it in order to capture our favourite moment and to relive it afterwards but taking it by risking our life is not at all acceptable.
