ARE WOMEN LEADERS BETTER THAN MEN LEADERS ?

           

  Leadership plays a very important role today, specially in a world where people are mostly trend followers. Most people follow someone as their inspiration or as a leader. A leader can be a head of a political party, a captain of a sports team, the manager of a company or any person who leads a group of people in any situation.

             But the point here is, does leadership quality depends on the gender of the leader. Is there anything that women leaders are better than men leaders.

            Leadership is something that is unbiased as far as the gender of the person is concerned. Leadership has nothing to do with the gender of the person, it is the quality of the person that makes him/her a good leader. We have great leaders across the world who are men like Narendra Modi, Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, etc and at the same time we have equally good leaders who are women like Angela Merkel, Theresa May, Aung Sann Suu Kyi, etc. This shows that leadership quality does not depend on the gender of a person.

            A good leader is one who help themselves and also let others do the right things. They set goals and the path through which that goals will be achieved. They map out things that need to be done as an individual and as a team player.

           Leadership is not an end result to something, it is a process which requires application of knowledge and skill to influence the people following the leader. Leadership is not something that can be inherited or learned. It is something natural.

       "GREAT LEADERS ARE BORN, NOT MADE"

           Men and Women, who are great leaders have got leadership qualities on their own, they haven't acquired it or have inherited. They have just applied their knowledge to recognise this quality in them an utilise it for the betterment of others.

          Looking at the qualities of a good leader and the thing that leadership is a process, it is pretty clear that leadership is not gender biased. It is the quality of a person that makes him/her a good leader. Though in the present world, if we look around, we will find that there are more men leaders than women leaders but that does not prove the fact that men leaders are better than women leaders.

         So, the answer to the question "Are women leader better than men leaders ?" is crystal clear. Leadership depends on the quality of the person and not on the gender.
